natural gas company
A company engaged in supplying natural gas for lighting, power, or other purposes to ultimate consumers. 26 Am J2d Electr § 4. As used in the Natural Gas Act of June 21, 1938, a natural gas company means a person (including a corporation) engaged in the transportation of natural gas in interstate commerce or the sale in interstate commerce of such gas for resale.
