Motor Vehicle Theft Act
A federal statute, commonly known as the Dyer Act, making it an offense to transport in interstate or foreign commerce a motor vehicle, knowing the same to have been stolen, or to receive, conceal, store, barter, sell, or dispose of a motor vehicle which constitutes interstate or foreign commerce, knowing the same to have been stolen. 7 Am J2d Auto § 305.
