Memorial Day

Memorial Day
A national holiday, also a legal holiday in most of the states, observed on May 30, in memory of the deceased members of the armed forces, with special recognition to those who made the supreme sacrifice while in service. A legal holiday in some of the southern states in memory of deceased members of the armed forces, including the armed forces of the Confederate States.
