Mediation and Conciliation Service
An independent federal agency, operating under a Director and having regional offices throughout the country, the duties of which are to assist parties to labor disputes to settle such disputes through conciliation and mediation. 29 USC §§ 172-174; 31 Am J Rev ed Lab § 371.
