along a highway
A phrase of frequent appearance in descriptions of real estate. In the absence of other words or language in a conveyance which indicate a contrary intent, a description of the subject matter of the deed as "along" a highway is sufficient to fix the boundary at the center line of the highway. 12 Am J2d Bound § 51.
