An automobile which carries passengers on a regular route for a relatively small fare. Memphis v State, 133 Tenn 83, 179 SW 631. A competitor of the streetcar in an older day. Columbia v Alexander, 125 SC 530, 119 SE 241, 32 ALR 746. A slang expression for a nickle.
