irregular judgment
A judgment rendered or entered with a want of adherence to some prescribed rule or mode of procedure, consisting either in omitting to do something that is necessary, or in doing it at an unreasonable time or in an improper manner. Murray v United Zinc Smelting Corp. (Mo) 263 SW2d 351. A judgment which, for want of conformity to the course and practice of the courts, is subject to vacation or reversal, but which may stand until vacated or reversed. Stafford v Gallops, 123 NC 19, 31 SE 265.
