The report made by the polling officials to the higher authority as to the number of votes cast for each candidate, or the number of votes cast for or against the propositions or questions submitted to the voters at the election. Bond v Rogers, 219 Ark 319, 241 SW2d 371. An official statement of the votes cast at an election, transmitted to some authorized custodian, for the purpose of being canvassed by some proper authority.
