creditors' meeting
A meeting of creditors of a bankrupt required to activate the administration of an estate in bankruptcy. 9 Am J2d Bankr § 579. Also a meeting of the creditors of a debtor in the bankruptcy court for the purpose of obtaining an arrangement or reorganization which shall rehabilitate the business.
