The name of an offense created by the statute 32 of Henry the Eighth directed against the evil of buying and selling of titles and pretended rights of persons not being in possession. Webb v Camp, 26 Ga 354, 357; Cain v Monroe, 23 Ga 82, 94. See embracery.
