time policy

time policy
A policy of marine insurance which insures no specific voyage, but covers any voyage within the prescribed time of the policy, and the loss and damage the ship may sustain by the perils insured against within the limited period. Wilkins v Tobacco Ins. Co. 30 Ohio St 317.
