The mind of a person who is sane and mentally competent. Characterizing ability of a testator to understand in a general way the nature and extent of his property, his relation to those who naturally have a claim to benefit from the property left by him, and the practical effect of the will as executed. The term is commonly synonymous with "sane" as distinguished from "insane," and is itself as plainly descriptive of its meaning as any other definition would be.
