rolling stock
The locomotives and cars of a railroad company. 44 Am J1st RR § 272. Any wheeled vehicle of a carrier of freight or passengers. The term embraces the movable property belonging to a railroad company, and is declared personal property for purposes of taxation. By movable property is meant such property as in its ordinary use is taken from one part of the line to another, such as cars, locomotives and their attachments and usual accompaniments.
