Possession by a foothold; a momentary personal presence on land. Monroe v Rawlings, 331 Mich 49, 49 NW2d 55. In one sense, an actual possession by occupancy of the whole of the entire tract under consideration, as distinguished from virtual possession. Wheeler v Clark, 114 Tenn 117, 85 SW 258.
