Negro

Negro
A person of the black race dominating in equatorial Africa. In some jurisdictions a person of mixed blood descended from Negro ancestry from the third generation inclusive, although one ancestor of each generation may have been a white person. Frasher v State, 3 Tex App 263. The word as used in a miscegenation statute that does not define it, has been construed to mean only negroes of the full blood, and not octoroons, mulattoes, and persons of mixed blood. 35 Am J1st Mar § 146. As to negro or colored person within restrictive covenant, see Anno: 3 ALR2d 494.
