- matrimonial domicil
- The domicil of the husband which is that of the wife by virtue of the marital relation, her domicil merging into that of her husband. The unity of the domicil of husband and wife is in reality no more than a fiction of the law. It should not prevail in divorce cases where the purpose is to sever the marital relation and the incidents thereof. 24 Am J2d Div & S § 257.
