judgment satisfied

judgment satisfied
An entry on the record indicating payment and satisfaction of a judgment. The entry of "judgment satisfied" is not a part of the judgment of the court. It is an entry of record to be used as evidence in case there is a question about the plaintiff's right afterwards to collect the judgment. The entry has no effect on the plaintiff's right to appeal from the judgment itself. Preston v Henshaw, 192 Mass 34, 77 NE 1153.
