indirect solicitation
A term found in statutes prohibiting and penalizing ambulance chasing by attorneys; any circuitous means of reaching the injured person and obtaining control of the claim. Hightower v Detroit Edison Co. 262 Mich 1, 247 NW 97, 86 ALR 509.
