A place adjoining or abutting. 23 Am J2d Deeds § 243. An expression not capable of precise definition, its meaning depending upon the context in which it appears, sometimes indicating actual contact, while at other times and in other connections applicable even where there is an intervening space between the objects or tracts of real estate under consideration.
