Gadsden Treaty

Gadsden Treaty
A treaty made December 30, 1853, between the United States and Mexico, whereby, under the so-called "Gadsden Purchase," the United States added a strip along the southern boundary of the Territory of New Mexico. Ainsa v United States, 161 US 208, 220, 40 L Ed 673, 677, 16 S Ct 544.
